You will enjoy a warm welcome from the hosts of the Hirschenstube’s Gehri guest house, Andrea Kibbel and family, as well as the heart and soul of our operation, Senior Director Christa Gehri, and all the rest of our staff.
Flexibility is a key characteristic of our establishment, which means that the reception desk is not necessarily staffed at fixed times for arrivals and departures.
We are generally there to greet you personally:
from 7.00am to 12.00pm, and
from 4.00pm to 6.00pm
You can reach us outside of these hours by telephone or by ringing the hotel bell at the entrance to the Hirschenstube’s main building.
The breakfast room for our guests is located in the Hirschenstube’s main building.
We serve breakfast:
Monday to Friday: 7.00am to 9.30am
Saturday and Sunday: 8.00am to 10.00am
Special breakfast times may be arranged on public holidays and upon request.
We prioritise locally sourced food and produce for our hearty breakfast buffet. We also avoid using or buying plastic, and purchase sustainably produced goods whenever possible.
In the breakfast room, you will find a selection of daily newspapers for your reading pleasure.
There is plenty of free parking available directly on the premises. You may also lock up your bicycle in a secure garage depending on availability.
Located on the lower level of the guest house, you will find a Finnish sauna with a relaxation room and a small outdoor area, as well as a gym with an exercise machine, a weight training bench, weight training machines and a stepper.
We also rent e-bikes, when available. You are welcome to store your own sporting equipment with us.
If you are coming with a baby or small child, we would like to make your stay a little easier by equipping your room with other furniture or accessories, such as a cot or infant bed, high chair, bathroom stool, nightlight or baby monitor.
Quiet and well-trained pets are also welcome to join you. An additional cleaning fee of €25 will be added at the end of your stay.
